Philippines is one of the best places where you can practice scuba diving with its different types. The warm water and the good weather all year long make it a perfect place to practice the different types of scuba diving. On top of that there are certain features that enable you to practice some scuba diving types that are not present in many other diving locations around the world.

The presence of huge amount of coral reefs makes it a perfect place for those divers who enjoy diving just to watch the reefs or those who are interested in studying it. The warm water and the huge number of islands will give you a variety of choices for reef scuba diving locations. For example, the Tubbataha reefs is an amazing place to visit. You will be able to see everything related to the reefs in this place including beautiful corals, turtles, octopuses and ray fish.

The wreck scuba diving is another amazing type of scuba diving that you can practice in Philippines. Your destination of choice would be the Sangat Island where you will be able to dive in a dozen of locations around this beautiful lush green island. The wrecks in these locations include several vessels from the world war two as well as different cargo ships that sunk in the area several years ago. The wrecks are located on different depths so, it is suitable for beginners as well as expert divers.

The water current scuba diving is one of the most relaxing activities that you can practice in your whole life; it is closely related to the reef diving as the strong water currents are always found around the reefs where you can enjoy amazing scenery without exerting any effort at all. Once you adjust your depth and buoyancy, you will be able to literally float with the current while watching the corals and the creatures present there. The low effort you exert in this type of diving will allow you to stay more under water without the need for expensive re - breather equipments and gears.

Cave scuba diving is another exhilarating type that is found in Philippines; the best thing is that it is suitable for everyone even beginners and those who suffer from claustrophobia. A good example for these beautiful caves is the Cathedral cave in Coron bay, where you need to dive through a short passage before you reach the cave. The cave is well lit and its maximum depth is only eight meters.
