Weight Belts
A weight belt is an important piece of equipment for a scuba diver. It helps to maintain a balance between floating up to the surface and sinking to the bottom of the ocean floor. You want to maintain just a little bouyancy but not enough to make it difficult for you to dive down eaily and comfortably.

Weight belts normally take the form of a nylon belt system with pockets which may be nylon, mesh or neoprene. The pockets hold the weights so the weight carried can be adjusted for the diver and the conditions.
